"It is a wise person who
waters their own
garden first "
My aim is to help people attain the quality of life that comes from inner peace and tranquility and by achieving a balance between mind, body & spirit.
Coming from a background in office administration, it was in the year 2000 that I intuitively knew that I wanted to learn Reiki but it took me until 2005 to meet the right Reiki Master for me personally. Early in 2006 I was attuned to Reiki Level I and later in that same year to Level II and that was the beginning of my healing path.
Also in 2006 E F T unexpectedly came into my life on a personal level. I felt passionately that it was a therapy that I had to learn and share with others to help them improve their lives in the way that my life had been improved. By the end of the year I had completed the training and become a therapist and In 2008 I attended a further course to enhance and extend my knowledge of the therapy.
In 2007 an opportunity arose for me to learn the power and benefits of healing with crystals and colour, something that resonated with me because I felt that it would fit very well with and complement my Reiki work.
By 2008 I realised that the time had come for me to take the final step with Reiki and become attuned as a Reiki Master/Teacher, a step that carries certain responsibilities and not one to be undertaken lightly.
Early in 2009 I studied Seva / Stress Release, a modality developed to help sufferers of trauma and stress.
My therapy work, until now, has been carried out on an ad hoc basis in addition to regular bi-weekly sessions at the Pickering Cancer Drop In Centre in Tunbridge Wells. However I realise that the time is now right for me to give it my full time attention.
I am registered with the UK Reiki Federation as a Master Teacher Member and work in accordance with their published Codes of Ethics & Standards of Practice.
I also currently hold advanced CRB clearance for working alone with children and vulnerable adults as a basic requirement for my voluntary work at the Pickering Cancer Drop-in Centre.
